Sawai Madhopur

Sawai Madhopur is originally called Madhopur, is a momentous and stunning district in the state of Rajasthan. popular for its history and legendary, it is located in between the Aravali Ranges & vindyachal range and between two cities, Kota and Bikaner. It is at a distance of 180km towards the northwest of Jaipur. This stunning place lies on the main Delhi Mumbai railway line and is the gateway to the world famous Ranthambor National Park, the popular Tiger Reserve, just 12km away from here. Ranthambore Fort

Considered one of the most popular tourist destinations, here you will have an opportunity to explore the animals like boars, chital, Nilgai, Sambhar, and last but not least Tiger. Apart from, Paradise flycatcher, Partridge, red spur fowl, pea fowl, and Vilture are the few verities of birds that one can see during journey to Ranthambore.

Ranthambore National Park

Well-known for its outstanding structure, Adhai-din ka-jhonpra is a masterpiece of Indo-Islamic architecture located on the outskirts, of the city, just beyond to Dargah.

Ganesh Temple

Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this temple is located in the fort of Ranthambore, just 12 km away from Sawai Madhopur. This temple is the site for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations fascinate devotees from all over to join in the singing of devotional songs.

Jogi Mahal

A beautiful forest rest house which offers excellent view of the Padam Talao, Jogi Mahal is situated at the foot of the Ranthambore fort.

Lakes

There are several stunning lakes called Raj Bagh Talab, the Padam Talab and the Milak Talab. One can track the tigers at the edges of these lakes. Ruined ramparts, pavalions, crumbling walls, and wells bear testimony to the region’s past glory. As far as transport is concerned, the nearest airport is Jaipur which is 165 km from Madhopur, the railway station at Sawai Madhopur connects the town with Delhi, Mumbai and other major cities in western India. A good network of bus services connects Sawai Madhopur with several places of Rajasthan.
