This museum was commissioned by Sawai Ram Singh II in 1876 A.D. It is one of the finest & most beautiful examples of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture designed by Samuel Swinton Jacob.

Hawa Mahal, a multi layered palace, is also known as Jaipur signature building, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Extremely popular for its architect & structure, the Mahal is an interplay of red & pink sand stone.

Located in the heart of the old city, it occupies about one seventh of the old city area. Houses a seven storey Chandra Mahal in the centre, this palace is a blend of Rajput & Mughal Architecture.

Built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the last great classical astronomer in India is a place worth to see. The modernistic structures known as 'Yantras' are the exceptional creations of this astronomer-king designed by him and built by experts to observe the movements of sun, moon, planets and the stars.

Encircled by large lush green gardens, Birla Mandir or the Lakshmi- Narayan temple is another center of attraction located below the Mooti Doongari castle.

It is one of the few military structures of medieval India preserved almost intact, containing palaces, gardens, open and covered reservoirs, a granary, an armory, a well-planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and giant mounted cannon.
